庄礼兴教授，博士生导师，岭南针灸康复研究所所长，第七批全国老中医药专家学术经验继承工作指导老师，广东省名中医，广东省名中医师承指导老师，香港中文大学客座教授，针灸推拿学专业博士生导师。国家中医药管理局重点专科带头人，华南区中医(针灸科)诊疗中心带头人，全国中医学术流派靳三针疗法传承工作室负责人,中国针灸学会学术流派研究与传承专业委员会常委，中华中医药学会学术流派传承专业委员会常委，广东省针灸质控中心主任，广东中医药研究促进会副理事长，广东省针灸学会副会长。
主要研究方向为靳三针疗法治疗脑卒中、帕金森等脑病的临床研究和临床获效机制；主持的相关项目《靳三针疗法治疗中风病诊疗方案》纳入国家中医药管理局重点专科诊疗方案，成为国家中医药管理局中医特色诊疗技术。基于肠脑轴探讨靳三针治疗帕金森病的分子获效机制获得2项国家自然科学基金支持。开创靳三针调神针法，对中风后抑郁、更年期焦虑障碍等身心疾病疗效显著。
曾获广东省科技进步二等奖；中国针灸学会科技进步奖一等奖，第七批全国老中医药专家学术经验继承工作指导老师；广东省名中医；广东省科学技术奖三等奖；广东省中医药科学技术进步奖一等奖；中国中西医结合学会科学技术奖三等奖；中国针灸学会科学技术奖二等奖；广州中医药大学科学技术奖励一等奖；中医冬病夏治优秀个人；岭南名医。
庄礼兴教授负责的科研课题有：主持国家以及省部级课题11项，其中国家科技攻关计划项目2项目，国家自然科学基金2项，省部级立项6项。主编《靳瑞学术思想及靳三针疗法经验集成》等著作九部；以第一作者或通讯作者发表高水平论文200余篇。获得专利授权11项，其中国家发明专利1项。
